Congratulations to Scott Parker - Winner of The Taylor Made Cup

Congratulations to Scott Parker (Hecla Golf Course), winner of the Taylor Made Cup held Friday June 27th at The Meadows at St. Paul golf course. Scott fired a 4 under par 68 to win by three strokes over Jared Ladobruk (St. Charles), Brad Poleschuk (Bel Acres) and Steve Wood (Bel Acres).

Congratulations to Shane Dick - Winner of The Nike Golf Challenge

On a great day for golf at Pine Ridge Golf Club Shane Dick of Pine Ridge Golf Club and Scott Parker of Hecla Golf Resort decided to play one more hole after matching one over par 73s. Shane Dick came away the winner with a solid par on the 17th hole at Pine Ridge. Geoff Kehler and Dean North were tied for third with rounds of 74.

Taylor Made Cup Event Postponed

Due to the miserable weather we had on June 6 we have decided to reschedule the tournament to Friday June 27. It will still be played at the Meadows at East St. Paul but we will start at 7:00 AM.

If you are entered into the event I will keep your entry and I will assume you will still play on June 27. I may have to alter the draw and will post a revised draw closer to the event. If you decide you will not be playing please let me know so I can remove your name from the draw. If I do not hear from you I will assume you are in and will charge you at that time.

The draw has been posted - Please remember the new start time is 7:00 a.m.

Congratulations to Chris Worley and team - Fletcher Pro-Lady Winners

Congratulations to Chris Worley and his team from the Minnewasta Golf Club for winning the Fletcher Pro-Lady event. Chris' team consisted of club members, Karen Foster, Bev Sheldon and Laeh Beattie and won with a score of 57.6 (net).

Congratulations to Derek Ingram - Golf Supply House Spring Kickoff Winner

Derek Ingram, the 2007 CPGA Teacher of the Year, won the first MPGA tournament, the Golf Supply House Spring Kickoff, shooting a 3 under par round of 69. On a cool, wet and overcast day Derek was the best player in the field of 42 that teed it up at Niakwa Country Club. Dean North of Selkirk Golf & Country Club finished the day at even par for second place. Emerson Mahoney, Geoff Kehler and Scott Parker were tied for third.

Congratulations To Emerson Mahoney and Jim Steep

Congratulations to Emerson Mahoney (Niakwa Country Club) and Jim Steep (Glendale Country Club) for being named "Club Fitter of The Year" by Ping Golf and Callaway Golf respectively. Emerson was named the Regional Fitter Club Fitter of the Year by Ping and Jim was named the National Club Fitter of The Year by Callaway golf.

Congratulations To Derek Ingram - 2007 CPGA National Teacher of The Year

Congratulations to Derek Ingram (Elmhurst Golf & Country Club) for winning the 2007 CPGA National Teacher of the Year award. This is the second time Derek has won this prestigious award, the first time coming in 2003.
